Randall Seeliger, Managing Partner


Randall Seeliger, co-founder of The Ametus Group, has nearly
25 years of experience in the medical technology industry working within start-up and established companies in both private and public company environments. He has a broad range of experience with Class I, Class II, and Class III medical devices in the fields of diagnostic technologies, interventional angioplasty, laparoscopic surgery, urologic surgery, laser technologies, vascular grafts and implantable surgical devices.


Prior to The Ametus Group, his experience includes significant leadership roles at a variety of medical technology companies.


As Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Sales for Ativa Medical, a privately-held microfluidics based in-vitro diagnostic company, he researched, identified and defined unmet market needs; developed the company’s strategic marketing and sales plans; led discussions and execution of global strategic business development and commercial partner activities.


At American Medical Systems (an Endo Company), he was Director of Marketing for this world leader in male and female pelvic health solutions. He held global market responsibility

for the $140M Prostate Health franchise, establishing global strategic business plans and driving key marketing initiatives.


As President of Enova Medical Technologies, which provides innovative medical technologies across a broad range of surgical specialties, he successfully raised corporate capital, directed and managed company activities and increased overall company value by establishing a new management team, commercializing the first cordless surgical headlight, and substantially growing the company’s OEM business.


He also served as Vice President of the General Surgery Business for Gyrus ACMI, an Olympus Company which manufacturers and markets bipolar radio frequency generators and surgical instruments. He was directly responsible for divisional profit and loss, marketing and sales, corporate M&A, and new product development activities of the company’s largest R&D initiative.


At Synovis Life Technologies, a Baxter Healthcare Company that  develops, manufacturers and markets biological surgical tissue products, he was Director of Global Sales, managing the worldwide sales organization in more than 60 countries.


He also has experience in the diagnostics business, with Diametrics Medical, an ITC Company that developed, manufactured and commercialized the first blood gas and electrolyte analyzer and micro sensor cartridges. As Product Manager, he directed cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize two generations of point-of-care systems and a proprietary software package.


Mr. Seeliger received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with an emphasis on Information Technology from the University
of Colorado.



Mark Will, Managing Partner


Mark Will, co-founder of The Ametus Group, has over 18 years of senior level health care experience encompassing medical devices, capital equipment, software, diagnostics, and disposables. He has focused on commercialization, driving revenue growth, strategy, product launches, and distribution and channel management in both direct and distributor-based models on a global basis.


Throughout his career Mr. Will has been involved  with the introduction of new products as well as leading the sales management efforts for new and well-established product lines.


His experience includes leadership roles with Endo Health Solutions, a $5 billion medical device and pharmaceutical company. As Vice President of Sales, Lab Solutions and Vice President of Strategic Accounts, he worked on building the strategy to capitalize on the impending changes of healthcare reform.


He also held the roles of Director of Global Business Development and Director of U.S. Sales for the Prostate Health business of American Medical Systems (an Endo Company). For this world leader in male and female pelvic health solutions, he led the sales organization and global market development; established and executed the go-to-market strategy and reorganized global distribution channels.


Mr. Will has also consulted for incubator and start-up medical companies over the course of his career.


He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
